      &
medical teams,
volunteers of all colors
in hospital green
       &
two days later,
he pulls his "9-11" shirt
from a jumbled drawer

The flag
billowed in gusts
of winds that moved cloud streaks
through the pale blue sky and across
the sun.

degrees on Nine-
