steady rainfall/ under the young tulip tree/ pink and white petals

dead of winter/ two yellow mums bloom/ on closer look … silk

before the ice storm/ fresh camellias/ grace each room

peepers croak/ from a marshy bog/ here, violets bloom
~~before daffodil/ or purple martin/ a killer tornado
~~
petals fallen/ under the red camellia/ April’s rain in March
~~
jonquils/ drooping in their first rain/ the umbrellaed walker

Such lovely lines...full of spring beauty...except for the tornado one. We sit here now knowing bad weather is coming in a few hours...I do not like to think of the T word!

Hope you didn't get the "T" word. But the wind has been ferocious--until early this morning, when it died down as if in awe of the empty tomb we celebrate today. Thanks for commenting. PL
